my friend said “I would like to invest in a duffle bag for college.” and they have been making fun of her because she said that. I said that it is a correct term and you can use invest in that sentence but they said you can’t. How can i explain it to them?
that is perfectly fine..it is an invesment. at some point she’ll need to carry alot of stuff, and a duffle bag would be a good idea…
